Now I know how someone survives in Canada - 2000 channels of TV and lots of flights to Thailand.

        I'm still not moving there.
Retired the top 12.  Need a new dirty dozen.

Update: The new list is coming together: Nong Poy, Anita, Nok, Gif, Liisa Winkler, Kay, Nina Poon.  Is it possible to find 5 more?  Until then, GGs:  Jessica Alba, Yuko Ogura, Zhang Ziyi, Maggie Q, and Gong Li.

In London, Oxford St, you can buy the biggest TV in the world, the Panasonic 8 foot wide Plasma. Its about £50K and weighs half a ton. Delivery and set up is £5K

The problem is that you will have to sit further back to enjoy a good picture otherwise you will be looking at fuzzypixles .
For playing video games, you want a LCD (like your computer screen), not a plasma display. Those are readily available in large sizes (40-50") at 1080p resolution and the high resolution would probably be worth the extra money for your purposes.
As far as I know this is totally untrue .Its the plasma that you should use for gaming as the LCD screen blotches with gaming . Btw I have two of the things LG 42" with built in Hd boxes.
Very cool ,yet if your into movies and want that crystal clear picture then the LCD is your go !

What Satellite in the UK do you use for the Thai channels?

Here in North America Intelsat Americas 5 at 97.0°W has many Thai TV channels... I love the Thai TV.
