    The Rugby World Cup Thread

    It kicked off tonight with a shock defeat by the home team France by the fierce Argentina., 17-12

    New Zealand and Oz should be good favourites, but it will be interesting to see if any of the Home Nations can perform

    England V USA tomorrow @ 5pm UK time

    On a side not, a great sport day for England Supporters.

    All 3 major England Teams are Playing; at Cricket V India, Football against Israel and Rugby against the States.

      ah the aul rugby world cup again, am not a big fan of rugby, but ireland are playing the host nation france on the 21st, and I'll be in bkk then, so could anyone tell where is a good place to watch it?, kick off is at 2am bkk time

                      Yes a pretty good day all round for english sport.

                      However, wasnt the toughest opposition in the world!

                      Be thankful for small mercies though

                            I can not see New Zealand losing a game and they have such strength in depth that a few injuries shall not cause too much of a problem.
                            Absolutely no chance that the current world champions England are going to retain their title
