(Fred_Nguyen @ Nov. 30 2007,10:14) I do feel sorry for her, and shame on everyone who said serves her right.
I agree with you there Fred. 100%.
In the old days we used to send a gunboat and kill a few but alas these times are passed. what a shame
This poor old dame is a pawn in the Politics that are currently going on between the UK and Sudan about human rights and the war going on. The Judge knew very well that this was going to blow up....
Well - I don't really think about what these rather odd people do in their weirdo countries and I don't really think too much of these arrogant 'charitable' folks who go there thinking they are gonna change the world.
Leave 'em be, I say. There are so many more important issues facing us at home.
If we just leave them alone and send them loads of guns they'll do the job for us.
(Grinder @ Nov. 30 2007,05:37) She was way off base calling the bear Mohammed. Totally wrong.
I've seen the bear and it's definitely female...
you'll get no argument on this ladyboy-loving board, but there are many who still call pre-operative ladybears "he" instead of "she". backward? yes. insulting? you betcha. but it's the fucking suDAN for gosh sake! maybe if the bear had dressed more provocatively the reclusive schoolmarm would've known better and saved herself a heap of shit by naming it shiva or hillary or maybe margaret thatcher.
any chance luci mustang could serve up the flogging?
or would that just lead to a rash of stuffed toys being named muhammad all over the arab world?

Good points. The problem is Islam, not some simple English lady.
I'm with Morrissey on this one... "The gates of England are flooded. The country's been thrown away". "These days you won't hear a British accent in Knightsbridge"
Pictured below are Muslim throatslitters upset about a teddy bear, but who would be perfectly happy to emigrate and vote in Londonistan for good Ken.

I live in Central London and the East side is indeed now de facto Londinistan , they have taken it over and for most purposes it is in fact a Muslim mini state...so the Teddy Bear issue is very relevant ....
It is Apartheid in reality and this lot have there own un official laws and so most Muslim disputes will probably never see a London courthouse, they actually want their own laws to legally prevail in parts of the UK and the Labour Govt actually have an ear to this nonsense....
Like Geezer said the other day, the Europeans have had their day ... it was good while it lasted ! .
these words are unfortunately very true.
I find it amazing that a Government that controls enough nuclear weapons to destroy every Muslim country on the planet can only describe the verdict as disappointing.
What you wanna start threatening sovereign states with nuclear weapons to bail out one woman?
I find it amazing that a moron like you is able to operate a PC
It's never okay for men to cry! You know who cries? Girls. And little babies. And little baby girls.
Some of the replies to my original post appear to be completely missing the point that I was making.
The UK government spends a huge amount of taxpayers money on nuclear weapons to give our country a false sense of self-importance.
When a middle age female do gooder gets herself in trouble with some muslim maniacs the UK government reaction is one of appeasement. Their silence to the media is deafening.
I'm sure that if the woman was from the US, France or Russia the government reaction would be completely different.
The moral of the story is that if you are a UK citizen in trouble abroad (especially in a muslim country) don't expect this government to do anything to help you.
