No one answered my question, but I'll give the answer here -- Kwang was 16 when she first started working Obsessions. Given she was very popular, so let's take a very conservative guess at 10 barfines per month, and let's take a guess that she started at 16 and 6 months, that would mean she worked 18 months underage, and that 18x10=180 men, minimally, had sex with this particular underage girl. And I think it would not be ridiculous to say that quite a few of those customers are members on this site.

So long as no one is under the illusion that the MAJORITY of bars will be ANY protection against underage, (we can be 100% certain they are not), there is a certain safety in knowing that. Next is to know what the "safe" age is on the ID card, and the hard part, being able to have ANY idea whether the card is real or fake. Perhaps your hotel will be of help, but it still leaves us at the mercy of the Thai system. Leaving only yourself. Be careful out there.

Well, the legal age are different in different countries, and I think 18 is good for Thailand, if the legal age was 16, we would probably have a poll, about 15 y/o ladyboys..... so if we stick to produce the information to eachother, we might save someone an unpleasant suprise, but in the end of the day, its up to each of us to check. This site has been a great source of information for me, and we dont want SB with his knees smached.

This is a spurious argument...Maybe you are always breaking the law...But I'm not...

If you want to buy drugs, fake your passport, overstay your visa and work without a proper visa (last I heard border runs are not illegal)...that's your business...and If, you want to get caught with an underage girl, that's your business as well...

Moreover, the activities you have listed are all a matter of individual choice...Unknowingly getting caught with an underage girl, is not...

Many of us don't engage in those illegal activities...and in this thread we are simply trying to figure out how to avoid unknowingly getting cuaght with an underage girl as well...

The overwhelming response is...present the facts...allow each individual to make their own choice...
