It is a generalization to say that most of us over 40 prefer shagging something under 20 and it's also a self evident fact. There's nothing wrong with generalizing. If we didn't do it then we'd bog this forum down with a pedantic attention to detail and lose the plot!

You (and many others) may prefer more mature company, but from the evidence I've seen - most of us prefer the comforts of younger ladies and ladyboys.

Over 18 and under 21 hits the spot for me.

Well, I think we'd all agree with you on that. But what we would like the bars to do and what they are prepared to do are poles that will never touch.

I'd like them to play decent music, get the a/c units serviced and turn down the volume. I'd like them to keep the girls away from me until I'm ready to talk to one of them. I'd like to feel as comfortable in all bars as I am in Kaos or The Guess Bar.

I don't like it when they lie about the persons age so I'll bar fine her. But ALL the bars in Pattaya have had girls under 18 working for them at one time or another and it's their show and their rules.

I'd prefer to be secure in the knowledge that the girls are 18+ but I know that there's a real chance that they aren't and it's down to me to make sure of the persons age.

Highlighting these inconvenient legal transgressions will probably be counterproductive and lead readers to these bars for precisely the reasons that you are objecting to!

I'm not saying that we should keep quiet about it, but noone is should be waging a witch hunt on a particular bar or bar owner for doing something that seems to be fine with the Pattaya police and other authorities...

All the bar owners that I know are fully aware of my opinions on this... this isn't an 'us and them' war. It's an 'us and us' relationship. We can all help each other enjoy our trips to the bars.

If it's an issue that you can't live with then say your piece and don't go back.

I go to Lita's for the music and it is open late, I go to 131 to meet people (like PigDog I don't bar fine anyone.) I go to Bobs places ... erm... well, because I like Bob! Blue Ice is good fun late at night. XXX is off my list for a couple of reasons but I'll still go by if I'm with friends. JSB and Linda are horrible places not worth my spittle.

There's lots of places to choose from and I'll eat my hat if you can't find an underaged girl at (or very close by) almost all of them.

In theory any business should listen to what their customers say, even if they dont altogether agree with it. having said that, I still laugh at how many guys are devoid of brains on many occassions. I have just read a thread on another forum about one guy saying he had a 'great time' in one bar and in the next sentence mentioned he also got ripped off on his bill to the tune of 1000 baht. With that kind of logic, is it any wonder that most owners dont give a hoot about the customer and see them as game for ripping off.

The more I see and think about this - the only defining factor in a bars success is how many girls they have. drink rip offs, age of staff, quality of service seem to add to the atmosphere in many places as it certainly does not stop the most vocal critics from frequenting the bars that seem to instill it on their staff to reach new lows of 'customer service'.

Actually I don't think it's generalizing to say most of us like 18-20 yr old girls. "Generalizing" means majority but not all. Why do I think it's true? The simple fact is that the vast, vast majority of LBs working in bars are in this age group or perhaps edging into 21. It is also a fact that most girls getting towards 23 and over, often don't get customers in the bar because they are 'old', as my friends Anne and Phupae have told me many times.

Separate from that, I have a strong suspicion that posting photos of underage girls will actually BRING people to the bar looking for them.

Now down a completely different track --- who do you think is the most famous/popular underage girl whom I think several of us have been with, who has been working at Obsessions since 16? Her photos are on this site. How do I know? I took her photos when she was underage (no sex or genitals, as per all my photos) and went to get her parent's approval to do so, for my first calendar. I would say old members know her very well.

None of these things would put you in jail from what I understand about Thai law although maybe the bar owner should go to jail

Ozzie your sentiment is well intentioned of that I am sure, however and dont take this the wrong way, but do you follow the logical path of it yourself insofar as avoiding said establishments?     I mean, you know who they are and so as a result of that knowledge, do you vote with your wallet or just accept it and avoid those girls that you know to be the 'underage' staff?

As a disclaimer and I am not taking a moral high ground here as I was in one of them just the other night.   Unfortunately much as some may wish to say "this aint right" - its important to also consider "are we right" in adopting double standards and continue to frequent the said venues?       As I said before, it seems to me, that people go where the girls are - simple as that in this game and the other "nice to have's" dont count for anything if the stock of girls aint there.
