Degradation of the Forum

I actually tend to agree with Ziggy on this. I thought this was a forum about ladyboys and related information not a forum for personal attacks and attacks about religion, culture etc. Some people cannot accept others are different and like to spew their crap.

Plenty of forums out there to state your opinions one these subjects why pollute this one?

This place is pretty friendly and welcoming overall.

As this forum gets busier it's obviously easier to single out a couple of threads and boldly claim that the whole direction of the forum is going down the pan.

The Fish Box is for more debatable and emotive subjects and NOT for discussions of ladyboys. If you only want to talk 'shop' (and most of us do) then DO NOT click on The Fish Box!

Ziggy - to compare our forum with others would be your best bet. If you try ANY religous based messsage board you'll be shocked by the hatred and venom found on them.

I'm very proud of the members we have on this message board. I've waded through some online dross in the past and this is the only forum where you can have a rational debate without either over-moderation or 'flaming' attacks.

The moderators here are smart, balanced and online enough to pick up most of the stuff that goes across the line.

Ziggy - many people here disagree with you and many of your posts and I think this is at the core of your resentment of the way this forum is going. I think that it's a bit over the top to suggest that it's turning into a 'white supremacist' board!

Anyway - I'm generally happy with the direction of the forum... It's a little bit spicey sometimes, but it would be a dull place if it were not...

You can't get these kinds of numbers if the forum ignores what's going on in the world and simply agrees with each other or 'agrees to disagree' when there is a conflict of opinion.

If there are posters that you don't like to read then there is an "IGNORE' button which you can use to hide ALL THEIR POSTS...

The tools are in place to help you enjoy the forum. Instead of coming here each day and then complaining about it (which makes no sense to me at all!) try to make use of the functions of the message board and enjoy your stay... or alternatively you can either start your own forum (it's free and pretty easy) or find another one which better suits your sensibilities.

As well intentioned as some criticisms are I don't think this message board will be changing the way it does business anytime soon...

While we seem to have peaked at 137 members browsing the forum I popped over to a competing website and they had 22... but there's nothing very controversial there as Costassg seems to have been cyber-assasinated!

The most popular thread is about Francks 131 bar. (7,500 page views...)

We have a similar thread that has garnered over 43,000 page views... The Femboys thread has over 173,000 page views... Our top 5 trip reports have a combined total of well over a quarter of a million page views...

The First Crusade thread (which Ziggy started) has a paltry pathetic 400 page views...

I don't think that the forum has changed significantly! People come back for the porn, pics and information - not the odd contentious thread about our crazy world we live in...

I hope you are not talking about the 'First Crusade' Thread, given the subject matter I am amazed how it has NOT degenerated into name calling.

The 'Why is Tony Blair Resigning' Thread did degenerate after a week or two....but then I simply stopped reading it. Problem Solved.

Most people read a thread and some add their thoughts and then move on...

There are a few people who look at some threads the same way they look at a car accident, then complain because they don't like what they see.

If there are any out of line comments written that the moderators miss there is also a "Report" feature.

It's almost never used. I guess it's easier to complain online!

there is alot of muslim bashing going on lately on this site but this is a true reflection of how people feel around the world ,rightly or wrongly i hope people can still express their views on this site without the p.c. brigade taking over   at the end of the day its only words(sticks and stones)it would be a boring world if we all had the same views

i know im guilty sometimes of tactlessness and starting threads about promoting myself or something like that but I have never personally attacked anyone unless instigated...and i have never defined myself as a flawless character...

i do agree with ziggy's sentiments...the forum has sunk into a series of topics where personal attacks seem to be unavoidable and people use different ways to approach it...even wait
a topic as simple as "do you want pubic hair or not in your ladyboy?" (EXAMPLE GIVEN only) could instigate a big dogfight between people here who have their own personal preferences and people who have personal grudges against other people...

i am really really hurt with the attacks which involve personal preferences...the ladyboy world is big enough and there are lots of varities among us so that there will always be categories for each kind of ladyboy and there is always a place for the ladyboy or ts-lover....

but i dont think its really proper human behavior to discriminate or belittle the preferences of other people...and more so to attack the object of those preferences and even more so attack the person on the basis of race, sexuality, religion and personal characteristics...you cannot hit any lower below the belt than this...

there is so much negativity when this happens and there is very little consideration to how others feel that sometimes it makes me wonder if this person EVER exercises courtesy and respect for others in PERSON...

i went into this forum almost three years ago and i found few people posting here and there were conflicts too but most of them were always academic in nature and never personally assaulting....it was a wonderful time to post and to write and to be informationally productive for other people...

but now the conflicts have come to a point where so much arrogance emanates from the person who degrades another member as if he is all-perfect and all-knowing and no opinion will ever be correct other than his...and this kind of behavior discourages dynamic participation from other members....because some will always be less assertive than others...


this thread will go on to a hundred pages...i am perfectly sure there will be lots of people pitching in their thoughts...till then i will wait how they react to this topic....

We are a group of people with one thing in common - love of ladyboys
if you take the fact that members here come from different countries , classes , have different political views etc etc were never gonna agree , but then thats the strength of the forum , it would be extremely boring if we all just congratulated each other on our conquests all the time .
Yet again i made the assumtion because of our being here people would tend to be liberal minded , given we have an attraction to a group who are in general throughout the world [in the west anyway ] ridiculled , and in many countries oppressed , but i guess im proved wrong ive seen views here that would be a million miles from were im at , but again maybe thats a stength rather than a weakness

In a way I agree with Ziggy that recently it does seem that the fingers have started typing (c@~p often as not!) before the brain has been engaged.

There have been a few (sometimes interesting - sometimes not) threads about religion and politics recently.  In my line of work you never ever discuss these things.
I've seen people knifed (and had to sort out the subsequent mess     ) when these subjects have reared their ugly heads.

However as Stogie says  -  if we all agreed this place would become very boring very quickly and no-one would stop by here.

However!  This is a forum about transsexuals!   WTF are you doing discussing religion and politics here anyway?   OK - when it refers to the countries we visit in Asia maybe but otherwise?


Anyway as Stogie says there is always the 'report a post' button and luckily so far you lot have been adult enough to use it remarkably few times  -  for which I respect you all

We don't have enough girls posting here as it is and it's good  -   for me at least  -  to get more of a view from the other side.

Unfortunately there are a few who don't seem to be able to put their views across as a reasoned argument  -  but only as what appears to be a personal attack.  Even if that is not their intention!

I learned a long time ago that it's not worth getting upset about.  They don't really know you and you can walk away and forget about them.

The best part of this forum is that there is something for everyone. If you want pictures - they are there. Information in the travel/trip report section, and so on. Agreed, the forum is based around a common interest, lovely ladyboys, so that should remain it's main focus. However, there are genuine people here who all have something interesting to say or a story to tell. If everyone stays civil and accepts the others opinions or simply agrees to disagree, what is wrong with that. Religeon seems to pop up here as it does in all walks of life. I am sure the Pope would consider this board to be a vile homosexual depravity while the hardliners in Mecca would want to remove it's promoters heads. The rest of us live somewhere in between. Just accept the fact. If you don't like the content, don't go to that section. Plenty of pictures to look at instead.
