When we go to the shit-pits we are not surprised when we are hussled and ripped off. We are constantly on our guard against this happening and as a result we don't stay too long.

In The Guess Bar; the atmosphere invites you to enjoy the bar as well as the delights on offer inside it.

I can't see us posting a similar story about any other girl working in any other bar, because - let's face it - the shitpits don't give a flying fuck and we kind of half expect it to happen anyway!

Let's at least keep our expectations down to a realistic level and let the new bar (which is still only a few weeks old, don't forget) get settled.

From reading these many post the Guess Bar is being set up with high expectations of no ripoffs from the girls. It seems that Jay is trying to run a first class operation but in the end she only has so much control over her girls and there will be more miss understadings and out right rip offs hopefully few and far between.
Always remember one of the biggest miss understandings is the language barrier between you and the lovely thing you want to do it to.

I have to disagree very strongly, I don't think Fern took the better offer. For the short term she took money which she didn't deserve from a gentleman and went off to see her boyfriend! That's as bad as stealing from a wallet in front of the customer. For the long term few will trust her.
At least, she should have done the honourable thing and that is to return at least half the money to the threadstarter thaibound.
Personally I would not take Fern even for a short time.

Thaibound, with my respects and understanding Fern€™s bad move, which I€™m sure she regrets, I think this thread is going too far.
I€™m not a €œDevil€™s Lawyer€, but I have to give my opinion about this matter, (as the other readers/members did):
In my point of view Fern accepted the LT agreement with the best of the intentions. (I have no doubt about that).
A jealous thai boyfriend or whatever, lately made her change her mind, with fear and concern (I suppose).
OK, she was wrong because she break the agreement.  Also, YES, she was wrong to keep all the 3,000 baht.
But Thaibound, why you show her or put the money on her face.
It was much easier and understandable if you just give to her half of that amount, saying that €œis the fair amount for your services€.
I€™m sure that she€™ll accept with grace.
She ruined your evening (as you said).
So now, you want to ruined her life???
Now what happen? With this thread and the power of this website many people goes there (Guess Bar) to insult her, to tell her that she€™s not good.
Even you Thaibound and I€™m sorry to tell you, having heard the other €œworkers€ there, you lost a little bit of your €œspace€ on them minds.
Living in Thailand for about 25 years, I can say that this is a typical case with no further importance, but concerning the young Fern and above all Guess Bar with all Jay€™s efforts to make this Bar an unique place for all the ladyboys lovers, I just keep thinking that would be more nice keeping this kind of matters with more privacy.

joking aside I can't help wondering if this incident if it's not dealt with correctly and by this I don't mean the usual Thai's pull ranks against the walking ATM's but give Thaibound the lousy 1000 bhat and think of the long term benefits and kudos this would earn the bar and the reputations of the girls there, then they could truly claim it's a cut above the usual Nana/Patpong shit pits

Im not talking about Thaibound or Fern here, but you will always get people trying to put "spanners in the works" and spoil a good thing
