I was working on the premise that for every two beers you buy the third is free.

Three happy hour draught beers (237) minus one beer (79) = two beers (158) minus 10% discount for presenting my VIP card (16) would leave a grand total of 142 baht...

What did I do wrong?

So the trick is to get to the bar at 8:45, order three drinks and pay the bill. Then drink them over the next hour or so, and wait for the barfine to come down to 600.

BTW Can I order 3 lady drink at 8:45, pay for them (price of 2), and then have them delivered later when I decide who is worthy ?

I'm no great fan of Stringfellows, never have been, every time I'm disappointed because it is no improvement on my previous visit
I think it is a venue better suited to the more mature ladyboy lovers among us because my attendance always helps to reduce the average age

And it´s true, took about 30 secs before Yo told us to buy her a drink. We smiled and i was just waiting for Dear to demand the same, but surprisingly she just danced with her cock out not asking for a drink. Kip and Get did the same..

It´s a gogo, so sure they are pushy. Unfortunately no salami or May on display.

I used to be a fan of SF but the shine has disappeared for me. I had a similar experience at Xmas of being hassled and just drank up and left. My arse hadn't even touched the seat before I was being badgered for drinks. I thought I'd do the decent thing and try to deal with in PM with Bob but it looks like there's been no change. Plenty of other places to 'whet my whistle' and maybe voting with our feet will change things- Not!!

it seems the problem is not saying no - the problem is what happens after you say no.

Some board members have reported being harassed and abused by some of the Stringfellow lbs after being turned down for lady drinks. This happens in the presence of the mamasan and reports to the owner/manager have not resulted in improvements in the situation.

To be fair, I was there two nights ago - twice; once to get a feel (of the place, you dirty minded people) and the second time with a newbie whom I met early that night. Both times, the girls were fine, the waitress took no as an answer and I had a good time. I have had a bad experience there before, but this time everything was OK.

The girl that I was with told me that there were no customers, a comment that I have heard in Samui, Phuket and elsewhere in Pattaya. If it's true, then we might see a lot of bars go under and a lot more hassling from the girls to get more money from the smaller customer base (OK, it's counter-productive, but they don't think like we do. TiT). Interesting times!
