(shrimpsoup @ Mar. 04 2009,12:00) eeessshhh!....it was meant to be humorous and you seem humorless.
If you enter with an attitude you will be treated in the same manner.
Smile and have fun and chances are you will be treated nicely.
Thanks for your enlightenment.
If it was meant in jest maybe you should learn how to express your emotions by using the appropriate emoticon as otherwise how am I or anyone suppose to know?
I am happy to be generous and buy many drinks for anyone that is nice to me and treats me with respect they will get the same in return. Case in point was the 4000 baht bar bill at Ezy the other night which was made up of maybe 6 drinks for myself and the rest for other BM's amd ladies that were present.
BTW what attitude could I have possibly had as I had only been seated for literally seconds before being told to buy a drink.
It's ALWAYS the Thai version of customer service which lets me down when I saunter out on the town...
They will never get it... I want to be the one who decide how I spend MY money!
I don't need some tubby skank who should be at home minding her kids telling me to buy her and others 'lady drinks!'
And this Go Go show... I remember when it actually used to be a show. It's terrible now. The only girls in the bar are the four desperately unhappy dancers who have to go through their tortured dance rotation.
Go Go bars are notoriously expensive but it's generally thought amongst the mongers that you get a decent show which is paid for through slightly higher drink prices.
We all like to feel as though we are getting value for money. This is one venue where clearly there is less emphasis on providing any value to the punters. The lack of discipline and aggressive tactics will only distance the customers from the bar. It's a small world and if you insist at spitting at your customers then they won't come back... and others who may have given the place a go will simply walk past...
And that's another thing I don't appreciate any more... if they recognize you and you walk past the bar without going in, it's akin to throwing knives at them! It's a disgrace the way these girls are allowed to behave on the streets outside their bar.
But what do I know... I'm just a customer. I would have no idea what I want!
