I think I'm on ozzie's side also - his logic stands up.

As the commission lost for the girls - i doubt that would be on the mind after they have been BF.
I'd be punting they are hoping they scored the mug who is willing to fork over 3-4k
rather than concern themselves over 50baht - but i could be wrong.

I've met ozzie a couple of times, and i know its not about money as he is always spending plenty
at every bar - It's a matter of principle and i tend to agree.

I could argue that and I will argue that. I think it should be the policy of the bar.

I realise many people leave with the girl once the bar fine has been paid but I like to often stay and have a few more drinks.

This is not about 500 baht it is about a feeling of being taken for an idiot and being ripped off.

Anyway you say its only 500 baht but I was just in Thailand and Philippines for 9 weeks so 9*7*500 = 31500 baht

As far as the girl being able to eat she will be rewarded handsomely for the st or long she just had with me so should be plenty to put some som tum in your stomach.

So, Ozzie, you can afford to be away from work, and in the bars 7 nights a week for 9 weeks (!), but 1,000 aussie dollars is too much to give away for some good service? Oh perleeease!

The option is there for you at C & Ds - but its never been an issue for anybody while i've been in "office", until now, and i've a hunch its not an issue for 99% of BMs.

No offence, but we can 'afford' to head to Thailand for as long as I have holidays. That said, I dont believe it's in our budget to drop $100 per week in tips while we are there...

In fact, there have been times when that amount was our rent per week...

I take it ladyboy drinks are what they call Saigon Tea in Vietnam. I recall my brother talking about buying Saigon Teas for the bar girls when he was there.
