If The Guess Bar closed...

I've saved up all the 'last words' I should have had with Ozzie and put them in a bag and I'm gonna empty it on his head at The Guess Bar when he's not looking!

I've got no axe to grind with this bar...

 I am sending JaiDee the dry cleaning bill for my pajamas! Best laugh I've had today!

Hmmmm, trying to think whatever the Guess Bar has done to me personally to hold a grudge against it ...... it has sent a bunch of models to the ATS website, seems to be a good meeting place for a lot of the members and the people who read here, has a friendly manager who has been courteous and cool with me the handful of times we have met, etc..... what this imaginary problem is I can't think of it, it just wasn't my cup o' tea the few times I went in there and since my interests have waned a bit lately I can't see myself checking out the new location, that's all.  

      If I really didn't like this bar it seems like I'd be in their own sub- forum tooling on it but I have never done that even one time;  it just seemed to be a bit of an odd thread name, I mean.... would your life change if they closed??  Ummm, all hyperbole from the forum moderator aside; NO!

To be honest, after all the promotion, hundreds of threads and all the chatting up here and on the ATS property since opening up 2 years back we should all be surprised if they DIDN'T make it for this long, not the fact that they have. Don't worry guys, one peron disagreeing with the majority here won't keep any coin from the till, it's well-run and has a good location and should be popular for a long time to come.

I shouldn't even have jumped in on this thread I guess, per usual .... some things I say get misconstrued or more thought than usual are put into them for some reason.  I just thought the thread title itself appeared odd, and again I know he was mostly joking ....but  if Seven or myself had ran a poll that said "if Obsessions closed would your life change" I am thinking Stog's and a bunch of other people would be all over that one, but I  can't do the same with Guess for some reason.


 I personally like Obsessions! Save for the crappy music of course; they have a cool-ass light show and on any given night 50 or 60 of the cutest ladyboys on the whole planet can be found dancing in there on a small stage, all for the taking.   I have seen it been called a "shit pit" at least 100 times up here and never took offense even one time, it's just someone else's opinion;  so it's hard to fathom why anyone would care when someone would happen to disagree with a place where THEY like to go.

       Again, need to lighten up a bit.....  they are just bars for Crissakes

Next time do an lb beauty contest outside Udon far more interesting than the relaxing atmosphere from the guess bar. Most lb's there look like girls and don't need silicones everywhere. PM me and if I am in a good mood I might send you the photos

PS don't worry  I might start posting again. I leave that to the real experts.Far too busy right now. But reading this and seeing the guess bar on these dates made me wonder . So for old times sake I thought give my view one more time. I guess a bailout then like the us car industry or maybe a challenge for larry flint.

You can't say it any better than that! Before the world evolved around Guess there was others that came and went. I personally liked the Crackhouse in Clinton Plaza but that's long gone and it still hasn't changed my life or my ways.

But if I had to choose I still liked the old Guess Bar better...

Perhaps I've been in Thailand too long but the whole bar scene is a bit passe to me. There was a time when a good rowdy bar was one of great things about coming to Thailand. Now most bars are gouging joints where the drinks are too expensive, the management is too greedy--especially on the topic of bar fines, and the pressure on the females and shemales to make quotas. At this point in time I have enough phone numbers to keep me in companionship and the scene on the sidewalk is more varied and cheaper than any bar. In some ways bars are for newbies to hook up with mates or fellow travelers. Personally I have had every conversion possible with punters who know less than I do. I just need a warm body from time to time and not money pissing session every night.
