Since it's in Bangkok, it wouldn't affect me very much.

And like Stogie, I don't go out very much; I'm becoming more and more reclusive.

But even though I'm not out much anymore it would bother me if LaBamba or EZY or a couple of bars in Jomtien closed down.

So the perfect solution would be a ladyboy bar without ladyboys.   But since it's doubtful that one of those will open the next best thing is a ladyboy bar where they know me well enough to leave me alone.

We'd both be disappointed.. Its easily the nicest lb bar in Bangkok to have a drink and socialise.. In fact we think it's the only lb bar in Bangkok in which you can have a drink and socialise..

Sure there are other bars to you can just hang out and socialise in, but none of them are exclusively lb staffed..

I'd be really pissed off,  especially now that I have made up and dropped off 5 CD's of music to the place ( ask for daveduke007's discs behind the bar) which I think most of you guys will enjoy

There was a strong rumour but I would suspect its on hold - who in their right mind would open a new bar at the moment as tourism numbers are probably going to plumet?

Have to admit I quite liked the old one and did visit from time to time. Never been a fan of the new location and consequently believe I have only visited the once.

I have to say though that I am not a big fan of Soi 4 as a whole. Been here too long for it to retain any interest for me. In fact I try to avoid it as much as possible, not a hard thing to do really. Same goes for Patpong, Pattaya and of course OAP Cowboy.

Im now in a full time relationship with a Thai girl that i met here in Perth so my days chasing ladyboys are fairly much numbered anyway, untill we move to Chang Mai in 20 years. How ever im sure i will be able to sneak into the BKK ladyboy scene on our holidays. Guess bar is a great place but it wouldnt affect me at all if it closed.

Yeah... Lucky Lukes was OK before the Guess Bar ever existed and still served a purpose when it came to watching "the greatest show on earth" but now I couldn't sit there and think about a place I would rather be, and it not being available to go to...

To be honest - if it wasn't for about a dozen or so BMs and the existence of The Guess Bar I'd always stay at home... I honestly like it there!
