TPTS is located on the fringe on the Gay area and from time to time you do hear the rent boys squealing like pigs but apart from that it's fine

At TPTS, when you hear all the squealing just cover your ears or make your LB squeal / scream louder...

Aniway I just booked room number 2 for the end of January... And it will be my first holiday in Patong! I look forward, but still 3 mounths to wait

It's perfectly ok, on the back side anyway, can't vouch for the front..... personally I would never travel without earplugs anyway just to be sure.

Of all the rooms/suites, 2 would definitely be in a position to hear more street noise than any of the other three

Yah, that's the reason I booked #4 & not #2, apparently a favorite here. On the back side of the soi.... tho' #2's room layout is pretty nice.

I stayed in Suite 4 last May, great room but be careful on the balcony because this    guy across the way keeps trying to entice you to his loom for some "antics" which is funny to be honest.

On the third night I got Sonya to come to the Balcony so he could see my gorgeous companion and he gave up after that  

I'm booked in Suite 2 next time in December, another great room IMHO
