All is good - I only this week was in contact with Tom and making a booking for January 2010 - very reasonable rates for high season IMHO.

Cheers Guys, he hasnt got any availability around the dates that im gona be there... Anyone know of any appartments/hotels around that area that are reasnobly priced and LB friendly, i just love that area as i can just peer out my window and get them strait off the street lol....

Try the Yorkshire hotel. 999bt for a standard room.

Snick and I looked in yesterday and was quite nice, pool area is fab and a big gym too.

A favourite of Pentire's I think.

 That is correct KL....If I was unable to get room 2 at ThePlaceToStay, Yorkshire Hotel (formerly Inn) would be my choice in Patong.

Modern rooms with all the facilities you would usually associate with a higher graded establishment.

I took a look at Yorkshire, rooms were ok but nice pool. Good location.
Right now I am staying at Aspery and I like it. Use Agoda to check prices.

Only four rooms so you have a lot of privacy but you need to book early as it is a favourite among us mongers

I personally recommend the SB if you can manage without a pool and gym. LB friendly, good food and security and American run. Across from the Yorkshire Inn so still close to bangla.

looks clean and ok, ive booked room there for over xmas.
