More upscale is Lamai Wanta. Excellent location in south lamai near most of the bars. Check their website. Very visitor friendly!

lamai wanta ladyboy friendly??

i sent them email, and they told me "" can't bring ladyboy from bar inside room"" too many problem before

That must be recent as they have just finished new buildings work there... maybe since then.

Stayed there lots of times and never had a problem...

i stayed lamai wanta a year ago and had no problem bringing ladyboys -- one at a time of course -- back to the room. don't know if things have changed since.
less upscale -- but for under 1000 thb/nite, how 'upscale' is it gonna be -- but equally friendly is the marina resort, just a short ways down the beach. no pool, small rooms, but all the necessities. including laundry service at a good price. and an avoidable lobby.
