Yes, I leave my laptop out at PBR (whereas in most hotels I put away in suitcase).  And have never even had loose change taken by PBR staff (whereas I have had a souvenir removed from my wallet by a LB ..... now where's my video footage?   )

It seems quite secure to me, but I'm not complacent about that.

I've stayed at PBR three times over the year and a half and never any problems. As others have said, just use common sense. The first thing I do when I bring someone back is open the safe and throw my wallet in it. I try not to bring more electronic gadgets than needed, and usually just put stuff out of site. I have made friends with a few of the girls there, and they have told me about a few customers getting ripped off by someone they brought back. Again, put your money/wallet away. And they have also mentioned about a few neophytes who were aghast when they found out that the cute girl they took to their room had a cock! During my last stay there a couple of weeks ago, I actually was away for a couple of nights, but kept the room. I let Kim know ahead of time and mentioned that I had planned to leave some stuff in the room safe. He personally told not to worry and said that they have never had a safe broken into.

Was the nicer room the Deluxe, Mini Suite, One Bedroom Suite or the Presidential Suite. Maybe if you tell me how much a night, I can figure it out myself. Nice room though.

It is one of my favorite places to stay when I am looking for a quick weekend get away from the stressfulness of Bangkok.

When iam not wrong it is the Deluxe Room. Price for this Room was 1600 Baht the Night the Stadard was 1000 baht.

For 1600 baht, I will surely pay the extra for the larger space next time I'm there. The smaller room is fine, but I like room.

Last time they upgraded my deluxe to one-bedroom for free. It was very nice...didn't know what to do with all that room.

PBR much better IMO, except for the location where the Dynasty scores 100%.  And I do like a hose in the bathroom (don't know why Dynasty don't install them in any of their hotels).

Just to let you know, PBR are installing a second lift. On the RHS of the building (looking at the front).  Going to take 3 months.  Work from 10am to 7pm.

PBR still my first choice in Pattaya.  Price/quality just right for me, at 999 THB standard room. And the management are very supportive (OK .. forgiving ) of our taste in guests (and party spirits!)

And the 7th night free if staying 6 nights.

Includes 2 free brekies but I've heard that some guys pay 100/night less without the breakfast.

2nd lift is needed in this busy 8 story hotel.

Think in November that in addition to hiogh season rates, they will also being charging a 7% VAT which had previously been included in the price.
When you're almost always fully booked guess it means it's time to raise the price slightly.
