This is getting confusing. So far we have two Eastiny Hotels, two Dynasty Hotels and two Sunshine Hotels. I was going to book the Pattaya Centre today as that has lots of votes but Stewarts comments about earplugs have put that idea to rest.
The last time i stayed at the old Sunshine Hotel that was also a big earplug event as its smack in the middle of the Noisebars.
I have just had to argue my way to the top floor of the Narai hotel in Silom due to the Renovation works overunning 2 months. Call me fussy but i cannot stand any ingress of noise from sources such as building works , Discos or drunk Germans
Some Hotels are not just anti LB, they dont accept any Thia working girls full stop.
I usually stay at the Amari which aint cheap but i heard that is now anti GG and LB so now im going to look before i book .
Whatever, ill let you fellow frocksuckers know if i find anything decent
How about booking for two nights and checking out your other candiates in person and if you can't find anything better simply extending your stay? Since it's low season extending your stay should not be a problem.
excellent advice pig. . .i am a long-time bangkok guy but not up on the pattaya scene, so these post's are a great help. i think i'll stay 2 nights at your advice and then check out the sunshine residences while i am there. . .i'll post my reviews later - thanks!
Good link Piggy, with decent reviews by able laymen.
That link may have been posted before but i ignored it the first time. My Travel agent told me the Amari is getting picky about the partners of farangi and thats why im changing...... fuck"em , i aint taking the chance.
According to the Link the Dhusit Pattaya is a five star and apparently LB friendly Hotel and very quiet (If its not, ill soon let you know) . You cant exactly crawl home from here on your hands and knees but so what, these thing have to be balanced up . Anyway whats the difference between 1 minute and 10 minutes in the great scheme of things . Thats me done! Â
Â
The only time i want to hear a noisy bar is when im sitting it.
The only building work i want to see is the erection of my  Penis after seven beers.
I have stayed at both the Eastinys in soi 8, both were ladyboy friendly but Eastiny Inn charged me 300 bt joiner fee for 2 ladyboys. Â Good clean hotel , about 800bt but wouldnt really recommend the location
for a ladyboy lover .both the Eastiny Inn and Place are not the most discreet hotels for bring a ladyboy back to your room . If you like to butterfly and pick the ladyboys up from around soi 7 and 8 , Walking street or where ever i now stay at teh Baybreeze Hotel just 50 meters up from second rd on soi Honey Inn. good clean Hotel and very ladyboy friendly, even the maid on the 4th floor loved to check out all my different ladyboys and rated them all for me after they left...hehehheh 500bt a nigt and great position for getting homeafter a night on the piss or catching a baht bus down to soi 6 for some daytime action.
I have also stayed at both the Dynasty hotels in Pattaya and Jomtien and would recommend them both apart from the noise from new buildings on soi 13.
Also stayed at the Lek Hotel on second rd , very clean hotel 1000bt a night and the bell boys there would also love to rate the ladyboys.
Overall would only book a hotel for 2 nights and have a look around , have usually found that the internet rates are higher than the walk in the door rates.
The worst hotel i have stayed at Pattaya is the Apex, 500bt a night. Lasted there for only one night , very musty rooms and very noisy from second rd traffic. The Bay Breeze just around the corner is a quieter and clean hotel with very fresh and clean rooms and very discreet.
Why not go for the Penthouse in Pattayland 2 ?
Rooms 900-1000 bht. Only thing, they have not got a swimming pool and there is a disco next door that might disturb you at night, but they will accept anything that can walk through the door.
I don't want to bad mouth the "Eastiny Place" (the newer of the two Eastinys". For a monger looking for GG action, it's fine, good price, clean, good service. But upon arriving I was told: "extra price for more than one girl in room, no Ladyboy".
was going to book the Pattaya Centre today as that has lots of votes but Stewarts comments about earplugs have put that idea to rest.
I am a pretty light sleeper, so might not be so bad for most people. My roon was also at the corner of the Pattaya Centre that was closest to the building works. Ask for a room on the Soi 12 side near the beach end and I am sure you will be fine.
But the Dynasty is RIGHT beside the noise.....can't imagine how bad that is!!
I need a suggestion on hotels in Pattaya. Basically I'm looking for something similar to president solitaire in Bangkok where you have Jacuzzi in the room, and LB friendly..price should be form 2000-3500 Baht...any advice?
With all that has happend in Pukett do you think getting a hotel in Bangkok and Pattaya will be a problem in late January. I was thinking people might be going up to Bangkok and Pattaya and be staying in hotels. Not just tourist but thai people too...what do you all think???
With the latest report that the Thai Tourist Board did not issue a warning for fear of hurting the economy in Phuket I think that a lot of folks are going to show their anger about this by staying away in droves. If this report proves to be true then their is some serious payback due these motherfuckers. Of course I am not surprised, the higher ups in Thailand are more concerned about covering their own asses.
Answering your question, I do not think you have much to worry about. The Thai people from Phuket will not have the means to pick up and move to Bangkok and tourists that wanted a beach vacation will shift primarily to Krabi, Ko Samui, Rayong, Ko Chang or Pattaya.
