Dynasty Inn, or Dynasty Inn Grand, the more upscale version.... plenty of info on here about both.
Oops, just noticed the 1500 baht limit, DIG would be out I think, maybe the Worburi down soi 4?
Okay, after reading though all of the pages under the hotel section, I'm planning on staying at the Majestic Grande on my next stay. Is there an easy cut through to get to Nana Plaza without going out to Sukhumvit? I thought someone said it is closer to Nana Plaza than DIG, but I see DIG located just down the street of Soi 4 around the corner.
My next task is to read up on Pattaya hotels. Thinking about LK Renissance.
Just had the pleasure of staying here, albeit for 1 night & with no guests, & I just want to recommend it. As I said I wasn't mongering & the clientele was very mixed: business people, tourists, couples inc. a few farang men with their Isaan gfs. Don't think I'd give up the DIG for extended mongering, but this small property has a lot going for it.
It is located directly behind the staircase at the far end of the Nana skytrain station by soi 8. While someone mentioned that the rooms are small (they are the same size as the older Majestic hotel) it didn't bother me since the style is far superior to most hotels in this range & the design definitely plays off some Ian Schrager tricks to fool the eye: mirrors, big details, beautiful bathroom with a very large shower, king bed, 85 channels on the LCD TV & a very nice breakfast, better than most hotels I stayed at in this price range, included in the 1900/night.
This a new property & everything worked great. Rooms are based on a max. occupancy of 2.
