I have just booked my flights for June and i am booked with eva from heathrow. I know you just used this route billy so any chance you can tell me what plane you got from heathrow and if it was the new re-furbished 747 was it as good as the 777 normally on that route.

I know you travel business class but do you have a rough figure of what the percentage saving is by booking in Thailand as against the UK?

Recently purchased eva flight for october 3rd 08. I have bought an economy ticket, i was wondering if it is possible to upgrade to business class say on my return leg back to the uk?
If possible would i be able to do this at the eva checkin or eva flight desk at bkk airport? This is just an idea at the moment as it would be great to return home in a bit more comfort than usual?i'm going where the sun keeps shining.................Comment

You can also use FF miles ~30K to upgrade one of the legs from Deluxe to Business. I usually do it on the LAX to TPE leg since it's the longest.Comment

If you want to upgrade to Economy Deluxe it's only 250.00 more here in the U.S. and you can wait until you check in but by doing that you run the risk of it getting booked up beforehand. It's well worth the money on a long flight to be able to stretch out and relax.Comment

Not true billy, just come back from los, my card is gold, but if you request seating upstairs (eg 83a) it can be done no problem !!!
any old fucker can sit upstairs, regardless of membership tier,
i should know, cus i had a rant n' rave at the chief purser twice and the captain about it.
just insist when you make reservation at westeast that you want upstairs ! easily done billy.Comment
