You can take the bus - Service 389 Airport to Pattaya. About 100 baht and 2 hours. If you have plenty of time why not ?. Leaves from the Transportation Centre.

why, why why ?

Tried the bus to Pattaya from Ekamai once, sure it was cheap, but what a pain in the arse, too slow, and too much fucking around.

Despite all the trips I've made, next trip will be the first time I head straight to Pattaya on arrival, so I think I may contact Mr Tooms given the overriding positive comments.

Taxi to Pattaya from airport is 1400 Baht fixed price, From the basement level where the legit taxi line is
You can also go to departures and haggle, but at 1am you might not find any drop offs

There is no bus service at 1am, there are only about 6 buses a day, and you first have to go to the airport bus terminal. I have never bothered.

There are two bus servicess from airport...
One from airport and one from airport bus terminal.

But 1AM...Taxi only

HMMM I found this today while looking at the airport....
24 hour public bus service is provided from the Bus Terminal at the Transport Center.

Anybody know if its valid info and which bus to take?
Seems they all have bus route numbers and run 24/7

According to the Public bus terminal, the last #389 bus to Pattaya leaves the airport at 3pm.

66 02576-5599 is their number.

Taking the bus is great if available. Only a half-hour more travel time and about 1200 baht cheaper.

I just received this response from Mr Toom when I inquired about his service to Pattaya from the airport in Bangkok

"Welcome to my service and so thanks for confidence me ye sure i can do that and price is still 1,200 bath include all best tolls and parking fees"

If you stay in the Dynasty Inn in Bangkok they will take you to Dynasty Inn Pattaya for free if you stay there for two nights.
