The Beef is spot on.   In reality things are cheap. Accom is real cheap compared to Oz, US and UK, food is good value, cloths are as cheap as shit and as for the girls well we all know how much we would have to pay in our own digs. As the guys say, we all over spend as we get good value and we indulge. Lets face it we are on holiday and I for one aint gonna sit in a room wishing i had more bucks. Bring plenty , u can always give any spare you have to Stoogie. If you cant aford around 7000 to 10000 baht per day for a great holiday, save more and come later. You will never regret it

I recently bought a new one and theres no filth on it yet so i may keep in clean and watch them on that. But i was thinking about it not being nicked My PSP wallet, mini disc, phone etc is always kept in my safe. Laptop wont fit U ever had any trouble with yours and girls?

I was done for reving my 1000CBR RR they reckoned the exhaust was very loud, it had a standard can on it and the day b4 that i had one with a full Akrapovic system on it but they had no problem with that one.

I was at some lights though i had it in gear and just released the clutch, the tank slapped me in the face lol. Pulled me over did me for doing a wheelie... lol

and the other one was dangerous driving... That one i found amusing. My LB was on a Motorcycle taxi, as i didnt want to have her on the bike as i had had 1 or 2 drinks... So i told the guy where to go, im following him and her thru traffic, the policeman pulls me over at the traffic lights after hes been following me tells me im going to cause an accident, i said what about the guys i was following, reckons he didnt see them... But hey, i dont drive any different over there than i do here but after that last trip ill be taking it a little easier as over the years they have been coming in line with the west and there road rules, well for us farangs anyway....

On my 1st trip helmets were unheard of

I have a Sony Vaio TX, that fits into most of the hotelsafes. And actually it's loaded with all the pictures and stuff.....    
Never paid attention to that, what I might change since I've read all those stories about nasty custom checks.  Damn it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats the only thing thats been nicked from me aswell Why take aftershave, especially as there were 2 squirts left in it. Unfortunatley my Dell Notebook wont fit in the safe

Lots of different ways to do the LOS.   And I certainly don't do it as cheaply as possible.

But if you want to do it cheaply, it can be done.  Let's say, for example, your out of work, but have a little money saved in the bank, and you have someone to sublet your apartment back at home.    

If you're REALLY watching your baht, you can survive in Pattaya on 20K baht a week.
1 longtime (overnight) per day-7000
Hotel -3500  (this is NOT a shithole)
Everything else-9500

This is NOT a reasonable plan for a typical guy on vacation but is meant for a guy who wants to stay a few months on the cheap.

And if you want to pay by the month there's decent but no frills places in Pattaya for 5000 a month.

OK, how about a sex vacation in Pattaya where you're not worrying about the money. 6000 baht/day Lots of hotels for 1000 baht so that leaves 5000 baht left over for girls and barhopping and food, and massages..  At 500 st and 1000 lt and 70 baht beers you can drink and f*ck to hearts content.

Totally agree, the $4,000 USD i spent for my first trip (bound to get a razzing from Billy I know) was totally worth it. Go big or go home, baby. It's the only way to travel here.
