Hello there thaibound!
To tell the truth when i visit, I dont take a thing, only 2 pairs of socks and 2 clean shirts and a spare pair of shorts, fits into a laptop size bag and no problems waiting around for luggage, You can buy all you need out there in the way of clothes, I would'nt know about underwear i dont wear it! Have a fantastic trip i am pretty sure you will.

i guess i'm just an old fart stuck in my ways because to your mini-bag i must add: electric razor, clippers, toothbrush/paste/floss, pills (viagra, aspirin, lipitor, vit C, etc), swimtrunks (i MUST snorkel off Phuket), 'gifts' for the girls (t-shirts, dildo -- sorry sb, gonna have to leave out the pickles this trip), laptop, digital camera, batteries, condoms, lube, one pair of long pants+shoes,sox and shirt (so i can get into at least one temple and take some pix so i can pretend it wasn't JUST a 'sex tour') a print-out of all the invaluable notes i obtained here at ATS, passport/credit cards (of course), and -- hold on. this list seems long, but it may well all fit in my carry-ons. gotta go practice packing. btw, i'll be travelling about thailand too (bkk, pattaya, phuket, samui maybe), so just waiting until i get there to buy the little sundries wouldn't lighten my duffle bag, unless i re-buy in each town/hotel - though it's great to know it's all there. bottom line, i'll be carrying 30% of what i take to chilly/rainy/over-dressed europe. just hope i don't sweat so f'ing much i want to change shirts thrice a day.

Why on earth would you want to visit a temple? I have been here for years and have never set foot in one of them. (True is that - I went to one with Kui once, but it was closed and I have not been interested in them since.)
