Apple's taxis...

I contacted Apple months ago to book her to take me to Pattaya from Swampy on May 12. She got back to me immediately and confirmed the reservation and the price which I was happy with. Since first booking her my travel plans, dates, time of arrival, et cetera have changed numerous times. Every time they changed I emailed Apple to ask if she could still accommodate me. Each time I was answered within hours and the answer was always the same: "No problem Mr. Steff. I will be there to get you and take very good care of you. Do not worry."

She is terrific and a find for sure.

I've used Mr. T once and didn't have any problems.  Didn't use him on this trip but I'm staying at the Areca Lodge in Pattaya and they have a note in their services directory in the room that Mr. T Taxi is not allowed to pick up at their hotel.  That is the only transport company blacklisted.

  Mr T service is going down the pan IMO.  

Several times this year my pick up in Soi Nana has arrived 45/60 minutes late (funny, when they called me they were 'only 10 minutes away, traffic very bad').

So I don't use them any more to Pattaya.  They even turned up a bit late at August Suites on the way back.  So any previous recommendation by me is now withdrawn.   Im in search of Apple next time   , With chaos in BKK, I may well take the taxi from the booth in soi Nana to get to Pattaya.  1200 baht , they pay the tolls .....  and Reliable!

Apple is certainly very customer focused, she even rang me today to check on me for my pick up tomorrow arvo at swampy. I have even asked her for a tour of BKK as this is my first time there and she is happy to do so....'up to you, I will look after you'.

Just came back from 10 great days in Pattaya.  Per the recommendations in this forum, booked with Apple.  She is great!  On time, drives safely and at a reasonable pace, and has a great personality.  This sweet lady needs the business, so please do book with her.  By the way, stayed at Areca, which is an "interesting" place.
