My First Trip - Where should I go?

As I said in My earlier post, Guess bar.
I was on My own first trip, never been to LOS b4, never been with a ladyboy, stayed in the soi 4 area, so as to be nice & local to everything.Went straight into Guess, had 4 girls on Me straight away, ended up taking one back, happy days.If I had gone straight to the shit pits , cascades, temptations etc, it would have been too full on for me & the good thing about guess is thats were most of ya fellow BM's hang out.
Lots of hotels in the soi 4 area, depends how much you wanna spend.

I would have to agree with seamus on that one, although pattaya first if you don't choose Bkk!
Read the thread on places to stay, local as in soi 4 is good for first time, Majestic grande, dynasty inn grande!

ok i would recommend you head straight for BANGKOK and not PATTAYA on arrival in thailand,the truth is that pattaya is cheaper and theres girls everywhere,but the quality is far way below that of BKK,yes prices are higher in BKK but on a first trip im sure you will be looking for experience not so much value for money......does that make sense?......you will still have time to go to PATTAYA for a few days as its only few hrs away by taxi,very easy.i take it your still into girls as well as ladyboys,in this case BKK is great,it has the best of both.you have the NANA AREA to explore the SOI COWBOY AREA and PATPONG AREA.enough to keep you satisfied and busy believe me.in my opinion you must try to spend time in all three,as every guy has a different taste ,fav bars etc....you will not know yours untill youve sampled em all,example....myself i like soi cowboy as i spend some time LB mongering but mostly its GIRLS for me nowadays and cowboy is more relaxed than NANA slower paced,thing is you can easy hop in between all three in same night if needed i have.lots been made of GUESS BAR and its ok,but its just a bar,nothing special in my opinion,but its ok for a cpl beers etc,but id never spend much time there.......its a sideshow to all else there is....... just my opinion. do you have any hotel/accom sorted out yet? recommend as before stay in the LOWER SUKHUMVIT anywhere between soi 21 to zero area its location in the city is around center of all three bar complex areas so ideal and is good for food ,shops BTS( SKYTRAIN) and after bar closing eats drinks and socialising etc.if BKK becomes too much for you( which can happen after a few days if not used to heaving masses and constant noise/heat.this ive noticed is common among guys)then you can leave for pattaya at moments notice its that easy.but to go straight to PATTAYA and not BKK is a believe a sin.ive sat next to a guy on route from UK to THAILAND and he told me that hes been to THAILAND 5 times but never gone to BKK.........he was so struck on how great it was in PATTAYA he didnt consider what may lay in BKK...............fool!

Bangkok is a lot easier for a newbie.

Start at Guess and work you way from there.

If this were my first trip and I had to choose between BKK and Pattaya I would go with BKK for the convenience in shear number of LB's in such a compact area. I'm sure after this trip you'll come back in the future anyway.

OK, I have it almost figured out. Since my plane will arrive in BKK in late night 11:45 pm stay that night and 1 more there. Then go to Pattaya for 6 nights then back to BKK for one night then fly next day. And that is all the planes I will make because if its one thing I ve learned in this room is that any plan I make will quickly go out the window when I hit the steps of the first bar.

i think thats awise move,.......not too many plans,but i will never understand why guys will spend more time in PATTAYA than BKK,BKK is far far better than PATTAYA,particularly for a short trip ,id just stay in BKK for the duration, or at least half n half but there you go.PATTAYA seems to have gotten a reputation over the net,but hey thats cool, being a beach resort its easy to slip into as opposed to the city for some,but ive found the more time i spend in BKK the more i like it.but hey............. did you say your planning on FEB trip? TEXASMAC. could be there myself this time,wont know till nearer time.

I'd say stop in BKK for 2 days, then do Patts for 4 days and decide if you want to finish in BKK or just get back there for the flight home.
