            • Have found Continental from NYC area (Newark) to Hong Kong as low as $720. From HKG the best I have found was about $250 on Emirates. So for a total of $970 one can get to LOS. This is without using any American Express miles or points.

                          • There's tons of cheap flights these days...but man, I can't stand the economy class. It's either business or first for me...I'll pay the extra to avoid the torture of economy. Eva air has saved my ass with their competitive Premium Laurel Class...BKK-LAX. Philippine Air or Hawaiian Air LAX-MNL business is not bad...then MNL-BKK economy works good too.
Here I sit broken hearted, tried to shit but only farted. I am not worthy until I have at least 1,000 posts to my name on the LB Forum.

This would get one to the party, unfortunately I can't make it due to work concerns.

                              • Yeah Willy B, you did well. I just paid that amount plus a few bucks more for June/July, but the point is a good travel agent is worth his weight in gold. When you establish a relationship with them, they can accomplish miracles. Enjoy your trip.
