I didn't understand a word of that farangbah! Can i take it you're happy that i post pics of my favourite pastime?
From an online dictionary:
belie - 1 a : to give a false impression of b : to present an appearance not in agreement with
2 a : to show (something) to be false or wrong b : to run counter to : contradict
Perhaps the substitution of "belies" with the verb "portrays" would make it clearer.
