And allow me to be the first to say "Congratulations!" to Nicole for being the winner of the Glamor Contest last night. She looked stunning. For me, she's not the most beautiful in the bar, but her smile was made for this kind of show. And, as I said to her right from the beginning, she deserved to win.

Wow, what a night! The place was mobbed! The Gala Beauty pageant went on far too long, of course, as they do in Thailand, but the tourists loved it. And we took a fortune behind the bar, with records broken yet again.
Accolades to the girls who spent so long preparing for this - you know, 3 hours in the salon, 3 hours make-up, 2 hours preening etc. And they looked stunning.
The usual way for you to vote is to hand your selection a rose. But NingNong decided we would "vote" with pencils, that could then be given to the local schools. To give you an idea of the scale of this event: we sold over 1100 pencils! Just amazing.
