Ok, so last night was Kitty's Birthday, and thanks to some kind sponsorship from my friend Clemens, we were able to give her a fitting celebration.

I thought Essexboy might have given Nadia her first barfine, but he attacked a full bottle of Sangsom at such speed he was wayyy too mashed to think of such things. Just hope he found his way home ok!

Jimbo, I don't know where you are seeing all this "anti-bar rhetoric". Sure you are not confusing this with another forum or another city?? Your bar pictures of your own bar (Cocktails & Dreams) have always been welcomed and obviously if you look at the number who view this thread VERY popular. In months I don't recall ANY criticism of it at all.

For those of us who are regular posters there is probably a limit to how many "great photo's" comments you want to see, but I for one enjoy seeing Patong and I especially enjoy the "out & about" ones you post of Soi Croc and other areas along with C&D (OF COURSE). You are realistic enough to show pictures from other bars etc as any of us who have been to Patong know you are not the only bar in town, but clearly the most LB friendly with a great show. It HAS TO BE great advertising for you. Keep it up!!

Only criticism I can dream up is "where are the kitten photos"!!!


Any individual bar thread is open for valid criticism but I'm not seeing much of it.

You're probably confused because Johnnydiver is copy/pasting verbatim what Jimbo posts on the LB-69 forum, where there is a lot of noise and criticism going on lately....and I think Jimbo is getting a little frustrated by it.

I don't think he is talking about the LBQ forums.

Torurot, I am sorry if I confused you. Butterfly eyes is correct. I have been copy and pasting to keep this thread alive and I do not usually read what Jimbo has written as evidenced by this excerpt. I will pay a little more attention to ensure that there is no confusion like this again! Sorry about that and thank you for pointing it out!

Now as to this thread, I am trying to resusitate it as this website helped me find Cocktails and Dreams and you all put up with me on the ramp up to my first trip! I thanked all of you before but I will do it again as I had the most incredible time there! There is not a day that does not go by that does not find me here several times or at least thinking about the Land of Smiles! All the best to all of you and I hope that I can bring the vibrancy of this thread back to life as it was before Jimbo got frustrated and stopped posting her!

Good on you Johnnydiver for all your efforts posting. I didn't realise Jimbo isn't even bothering to look over here. Perhaps you can repost a small sample of that "anti-bar rhetoric" so those of us that don't frequent "other forums" can see what we are missing? THAT might liven up this thread. The posting problems Jimbo experienced were TEMPORARY and have been fixed.


Anyway on with the show, and thanks for your efforts!
