Ae would have been my number 1. How was the voting made? It wasnt an X Factor phone vote, did Cheryll Cole make a quick visit.

You cant beat a good old fashioned beauty contest. I remember Miss World as a kid and the whole family getting round the telly all shouting their choices. Now its regarded as sexist by the lesbian & womens rights minorities, so its fallen off the radar in the UK. Now we have to contend with reality shows. Whats more freakier I wonder.

Thats my punt, Jim is there as swimsuit section? Any pictures?

The damn thing took 3 hours as it was! To add a swimsuit would have just made it too long!
Maybe i'll get some 'underwear' shots tonight, for you!

Thank you Jimbo for all of the shots of the The Miss C & D Beauty Pageant 2011! I am sorry I was not there. I would have loved to have been one of the Judges but then again I would have voted all of the ladies a perfect 10 seeing how beautiful each one was in your pictures! I am glad Seya won as I know her and seems to be a good hard working person! All the best to you, Ning Nong and all of the girls! I will see you soon! All the best.

..they all looked great, their dresses were really spectacular considering it's just for the bar, do the girls just rent the dresses or do they actually buy them for contests like this?  And as far as the bikini competition goes, we pretty much see that all during the year there so we're not missing that much now.. hope you had a good crowd Jimbo & thanks for the photos, now we know what we missed by not being there..

Thanks anicon. Yes we had a huge crowd - not quite as big as last year, when i couldn't even get in my own bar when i arrived at 10pm!

The girls generally rent, but some borrow, and a few buy.
Given the rent of some of those gowns is 5000 Bt, you have to be impressed at their dedication. I was therefore happy to give the top 15 1000Bt each, on top of the prize money.

Lin, a friend of jessie's, came in from P*****a, to give Patong a try. After 2 hours she decided it wasn't for her, and has, presumably, gone back to Hell-on-Sea, which is a shame, because she would have done well - with a modicum of effort!
