Now that is funny. Not much chance the boss would find out......

No plans for that Bobcat. When i first arrived in Thailand, i set about looking for a bar in Patts, but after putting my accountant's mind to a couple, i left, shaking my head. Full marks to anybody who has a go over there, but to me i just couldn't see how it would ever work.
And it still amuses me today how many people buy bars with only sparse information available, incomplete/innacurate accounts, and skeletons tumbling out of the cupboard!

Yes you are so right, its also about location, location, location. Plus a clear head too. Alcohol & enthusiasum alone are not the panecia of sucess. In fact disaster.

Be nice to have a C & D II in Patts. I think I will have to board that plane & head on down armed with a Pot of the Duchey Original Seville cut marmalade. You run a cracking team. They are so drop dead. You must have got something right. Does your postion require an assistant road tester?.

I am down in March, if I can I might slip over the side for a couple of days.
