What you said there was far beyond OTT. Stogie may have his moments, like any man. But that is just an indication of character. Something he has in spades. Along with a large dose of fairness and common sense.

To suggest, insinuate or even imagine the most remote possiblity that he would entertain such a course is quite simply ludicrous !

Also, I don't think anyone who's concerned about photos is concerned about them getting posted HERE.  Most of the members are pretty concientious and even if there are a few assholes out there, the moderators would quickly delete any offending post.

However, that doesn't mean photos taken in a ladyboy bar can't show up somewhere else.

This particular post by Dieter, was the meanest, most evil thing I had ever read on this forum. I was really surprised, that Costass himself took it so lightly and responded so cool.
Whatever get's said and written on this forum should stay here and when people try to harm other forum members private life, that's just far too much.

It was an extreme analogy to make the point. Do I "think" that Stogie or Snick would do that, no. "Might" it happen in the future when life changes, who knows.....you cannot guarantee it 100%. maybe the new owners do it, who knows.

Another example for people who have been around here for more than a couple of years - Mr Lonely used to best friends with this site, then he turned to hated enemy when he got involved with his own website. Things and people change. Fact of life.

My point is that bars that encourage cameras lead to people mugshots being on other peoples hard drives. I can't reduce that risk to zero, but I can reduce it somewhat by visiting those bars less.

I was surprised the mods did not ban him on the spot. Way out of order.

There have been lots of comments in this thread like "but we are all nice people and we would not do that to each other". My extreme analogies are aimed at balancing that view. What happens if I piss Dieter off with a comment here, and he takes my photo somewhere.......not cool

First I've heard of it. Can't have been that much of a deal or someone would surely have reported the post or at least made me aware of it.

Is that post and thread still around? I agree that this type of behaviour is not acceptable here.

As for the photo issue - we don't tell clubs how to run their businesses, we just run ours. The risk in Thailand of having your photo taken in any bar is the same as it is in Guess bar... miniscule but possible.

Back to the original subject. I popped in and met the owner couple of days ago in Pattaya and the bar looks good. He does not have to do much work on the bar itself, hence the short opening timeline. I think he (Franck) is as realistic as everyone else and recognises that until it actually opens, a lot of the LB's who have promised to come and work, wont start until they see it open. Its an unfortunate situation but reality. The girls that have promised to come all sound good so assuming they do actually follow through and start work, He should have a good line-up in place. As with all these things, probably need to accept the first week of opening will be a steep learning curve for everybody and then things will settle down.
