New BTS Gold Line and Green Line Extension (North)

The new BTS Gold Line opened on December 17 - as per the Youtube video below. It has a different kind of train system from the regular BTS trains.

When I was there July 2019 saw that line under construction. Glad they opened it up along with the other new line. It will make getting around BKK much more easier.

I saw the construction in November 2017 too. the main advantage is to push to Dong Mueang rapidly when we want to take a domestic flight to remote cities with ladyboys (Chiang Mai, Phuket ...)
