One of my girlfriend's friends lives in Chaiyaphum, which is in Isaan. She said it has been really hard on the farmers as there was a severe drought the killed off one of the rice crops, and now this flooding has ruined another. That's besides all the damage and lives lost.

Don't eat the fish raw or marinated raw in seasonings with vinegar. Cook it well done. Got liver flukes. Trouble with rice fields all over Asia is there's no porta potties in the middle of the fields.

Ya I read about koh chang. Weird how localized the flooding is . Pattaya got wet but I dont hear about floods like koh chang and Phuket is so far not flooded out from rains
