I used to know plenty of English 'teachers' who used to live like this. Sorry bunch of losers the lot of them! Me and Kui started out in a dump like this. (2,500 Baht per month for a noisy dirty room with cooking on one side of you and babies crying on the other.)

All they owned was a kettle for a cup of tea and a work shirt! They would never dream of getting a taxi anywhere and travelled to their classes on those 'baht buses!' They stank of booze and cigarettes and sweat.

I'm so glad that short period of my life is a distant (and almost forgotten) memory!
