  • Had your mobile stolen?

Is it possible to have a phone number transfered to a new SIM card if the original SIM is lost or destroyed?
Yes, it's possible. First, make a police report (10Baht) explaining to them how your phone/SIM card was stolen/destroyed. Then bring the report to your mobile service provider and tell them you want your old number back on a new SIM.

You can also register your mobile number with the mobile provider (before you lose it), just show up at an office with your passport. After that you don't need a police report to get your number back.

I did it with Dtac and didnt need a police report, if you call them and ask they tell you this but if you go to the service centre they will just give you the new simn card
