You always gotta start the "warm up" for the evening at 7-Eleven with the 4-pack of Leo (in cans) for 109 Baht. That's the best happy hour in town--walking down the beach front slammin' Leos!!!!

Here I sit broken hearted, tried to shit but only farted. I am not worthy until I have at least 1,000 posts to my name on the LB Forum.
Most americans like shitty beer, but myself I'm kind of a beer snob so this doesn't apply to me I guess, right now I'm enjoying an ice cold "Prickley Pear Braggot" it is a sour ale made from prickley pear cactus and honey made in limited batch for the summer in Portland, Oregon and very tasty when I'm in LOS I will probably try to find Guinness when I can as it is my favorite session beer or maybe try the San Miguel light w/ the 2 lemons as it sounds pretty good. Does anyone know of any bars that keep a pretty varied selection of micros or belgian beers in LOS as I realy like good beer and would hate to just drink shit for 3 weeks. That being said there are a lot of great beers(Rogue,Dogfish Head,Founder's, Stone etc.) made in the USA that you can try so saying Yanks only like shitty beer is kind of a Generalization and not really fairLOL. BTW I'm staying at Irish Rovers so I hope there bare carries Guinness and Beamish and maybe Murphy's. Any advice would be helpful.
No.1. beer for me is Red Horse, 500ml, 6.9% alc/vol as sold in the Philippines. No.2 is Colt 45 at 7.2%.
I can't drink most beers quick enough to get much more than a bloated gut, but a couple of Red Horses and I'm on my way. A dozen of the buggers and I'm king of the Karaoke and everyone starts looking like ladyboys
Grrrrrrrrrrr Archa has just gone up to B70 for 2 big bottles It's my beer of choice at home, I do enjoy the taste and the price is a bonus. I used to say i drank Chang when I wanted to go to sleep and tiger when I am out but now it's San Mig when I'm out. I am a big Beer Lao fan, a shame this delicious beer is at heineken prices and not more widely available. I may just get it straight from the distributor but I don't like having booze at home, it's too easy. If I do a Nong Khai trip I may take the truck over the border and stock up. Saying that it's shelf like isn;t particulary good.
I couldn't give a shit how long it is until you're next holiday- I live here
Always partial to Heineken but have to try a few others that're mentioned. I don't mind San Miguel Lite though.
Maybe I sound insensitive but its not the case at all. I do care! But if I had to live my whole life based on how everyone might be sensitive to me.. I would not be living my life as I want it. So you can accept me and my flaws as I am or you can't.
Guys, the best beer in the world as God Himself intended is a HOPPY Pale Ale. The hoppier the better. You simply cannot beat the taste of a bitter hoppy ale. You cannot find that in LOS. Keep your lagers, cream ales, stouts, reds, ambers, wheats, etc. It is all horse piss compared to a hopped up pale ale or Indian Pale ale. Heaven in a tumbler...
