Use TRUE DSL - read this

TRUE DSL is now 600 Baht for a 4mb connection.
BUT you have to go to True and tell them you want the new price, otherwise they will happily continue to bill you at the old rate which could be anywhere from 1000B/month to 2400B/month depending on when you originally got it installed.

I'm saving enough for one extra short time a month

TRUE has traditionally provided excellent (albeit expensive) internet access... but they insist that you register a phone number with them... or worse - they make you change your land line number if it isn't a TRUE one.

If you just want internet access and no hassles with a phone connection or bill, etc, then try MaxNet.

It costs the same as TRUE (which is where TRUE got there pricing plans from, by the way!)

In the past I paid TOT a whopping 1,300 baht a month for crap internet access. I dumped their phone line and internet access when the MaxNet van rolled into town.

Six months on and I've been happy with the service ever since.
