The owner of this site recently contacted me and is offering this service to people who may be thinking of trying to get a visa for their LB girlfriend.

I don't know the site owner and how good they are but it is out there if you want it...

I see their initial advice is free  -  so I guess they at least tell you if you have a chance of getting a visa without charging you.

After that I guess they do charge  -  but what exactly are you paying for?  

It takes about 1-2 hours to get any sponsorship papers together and write the required letters.  That you can only do yourself.
Alternatively if your terak is self supporting it will take her the same and again only she can do that.

The application form took 10 minutes on the phone explaining to Herself how to complete it.  It's actually really easy but is only in English  -  no Thai.

To put the papers in takes probably 2 hours as they are usually busy.
Mind you I don't actually know as I never when to the Visa section  -  Herself did the rest of the application.
Usually the Embassy will probably want to see your terak for an interview anyway  -  which will take about 20-30 minutes at a pre-arrange interview.

In short you would proably end up paying these people to stand in a queue for 2 hours.  You're probably supporting your terak already  -  why not let her stand in the queue?
