Beaches near Pattaya?

there is a large island west of sattahip and on the shore there are a couple of very nice looking beaches (at least judging from google earth).

the settlement near the beach looks very tidy - too tidy. Is that some kind of military housing?

and there is something looking like an abandoned hotel...

has anybody been to these beaches? they look great!

At least one of those islands is private to the military.
Also the Naval base, and the public port inside it, MAY be closed to foreigners if something special is going on.
