Thai Movie Star caught up in Ferrari Fire on the Sukumvit Road.
On Saturday Afternoon Police and Fire Rescue Units were called to the scene of a car fire which occurred on the Sukumvit Road in Na-Jomtien Municipality, on the outskirts of Pattaya. Police arrived and quickly ascertained that there were no injuries as a result of the fire. On the side of the road, fire fighters tackled the car fire. The Red Ferrari worth over 15 Million Baht was completely engulfed in flames as shown by mobile phone footage we received from a witness at the scene who started to film, seconds after the fire began. The car driver and passenger were recognized by passers-by who began to gather. The driver, Khun Pasook, is the son of Khun Suwat, a former Deputy Prime Minister and the passenger is Khun Apichayar, better known as €œIce€, a popular Thai Movie Star, who is the former girlfriend and now best friend of the driver. They had travelled to Sattahip in the car which was given to them by Khun Suwat. They initiated a u-turn close to Nong Nooch Gardens and, according to eye witnesses, a fire began in the engine compartment. Both the driver and passenger quickly exited the car, leaving their valuables inside. Khun Pasook was taken away by a friend in a Silver Mercedez Benz to Na-Jomtien Police Station to make a report for insurance purposes. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, however fire investigators at the scene suggested to us that an electric spark came into contact with Petrol inside the engine which caused the fire.
