MK Gold: Different or same same?

I've passed by a few MK Gold restaurants before, but never got a chance to see their menu. Clearly they look similar to the MK restaurants that are so popular throughout BKK and other parts of Thailand. For people who have been, what's the diff? Is it basically the same food but in a nicer environment? If you've been would you recommend to go there over the normal MK?

PS: I checked the website but its all in Thai!

I thought at the Gold MK places that gold leaf was used in the broth to add flavor and of course double the price.

Its just a different name for the same product. You can stick to your regular MK without missing something.
