Here's what Pattaya City News has to say about it, the Hotel Norge............
Norwegian found dead in his South Pattaya Hotel Room.
Police Colonel Nopadon, the Superintendant of Pattaya Police led a team of officers to the Hotel Norge located in Soi Yamato, South Pattaya early on Monday Morning following reports of a foreign fatality at the location.
Inside room number 6 on the 3rd floor, was the body of Mr. Anders Conradi aged 49 from Norway. He was lying on the floor and it is thought he had been dead for at least 24 hours.
Near the body were items commonly used to inject narcotics, including a length of material thought to have been used by the victim to tie around his arm. However, no illegal narcotics were found in the room.
Police are waiting for the results of a post mortem examination, however they suspect Mr. Conradi died of a drugs overdose. The Norwegian Embassy in Bangkok are aware of the case and are conducting their own investigation into the death.

But the first thing that catches my eye in the report is:-
'However, no illegal narcotics were found in the room.'
I find that deeply suspicious.

Sad story. Met this Norwegian in May that said he was going to be 50 in some weeks, it's probably not him, but I doubt there are that many 49 year old Norwegians in Pattaya so you never know. He worked his ass off for 1 year, then went to Pattaya and lived the good life until the money ran out, then back to work for another year. He seemed a little bit crazy, but did not look like a drug addict.
If you're a farang drug addict and live in Thailand you're really really stupid.Back in LOS in February
