Just out of interest what was/is the new sale price?

Resale prices are pretty high in Thailand for cars. Is it the same for bikes?

When I was there last time ,they was selling new bikes with 3yr. warranty less then £300..I think it was 17.995bt.

Yes Billy, and on the face of it they appeared wonderful value, it would be interesting to see how those bikes are performing six months later.
I would still prefer to pay a little bit more for say, a 12 month old used Honda or Yamaha as I have done twice in the past.
Also, it is worth pointing out that anybody purchasing a bike needs to obtain a certificate of residency from Jomtien Immigration. This can only be obtained if you have the necessary visa stamp in your passport.
The alternative is to register the bike in your Thai girlfriends name

                      Classic!

A thread advertising a motorbike for sale and Billy manages to go off topic asking for contact details.

Maybe it's time you were back in LOS Billy.

The price new seems to be in the 47k to 48k range.
As far as resale value, I have no clue.

In a recent search I have seen these bikes in the range of 29k to 40k for bikes with higher mileage.
I guess it is in between somewhere, eh
