Anyone know if there are any Spray Tan Booths in Bangkok?

And before anyone shouts, these don't exist in Thailand what with the desire for a ghost look, there is a booth in Samui.

    Probably aimed at tourists though:

Afraid I don't know about Bangkok but for all us southern ladies - there is a spray tan booth on the road coming out of Chaweng towards to Lamai. Whhhhooooooppppeeee! Personally hate tanning and am petrified of looking like a bit of old leather so it is perfect for me if I need a little top up. Don't know how much it is though.

Am sure there is one in Bangkok if it has made it to Samui....

    Cheers.

I am not sure why you want this, unless you are going chasing the lbs all night and want to give your family/friends the impression you were on the beach all day!

Here is something found on Google search combining Bangkok and spray tan:
        Mystic Thai Spa

I am sure this is an expensive proposition, especially since you are a farang. You can buy spray tan from some of the drug stores and try the do it yourself method.

        Good luck!

Cheers, I may well enquire how much they charge.

Yeah I live a vampire's existence while there chasing skirt, and although the plan is to catch a few rays I never do.

If I can cheat and get a spray on tan then that will do.

Last time I was there I couldn't find any 'spray tans'. I only looked in Tesco and Watsons though.

Anyone know any drug stores that may have them?

          cheers

It's a weird thing, eltel, but I'll bet that these spray on tans are more heavily regulated than sex change operations.

Good luck finding something! Didn't the Canadians invent a pill that made your body go orange about 20 years ago?

ElTel,you can buy tanning mousse from a MAC counter in any department store in BKK
chances of a LB rubbing it in for you has diminished in Central Chit Lom because some
gobshite complained and they moved the girls to more out of the way branches...
they cost 1800 baht a bottle...

Yeah, that really IS Canadian. In the UK we have tanning bulldog and in the USA they have the tanning eagle. In Mexico they have the tanning taco!

In China they have the tanning oppressive regime and in Africa they have the tanning bleach compound that makes you blind if you accidentally try to get drunk on it!

In Ireland they have the Orange marching tanning balm and in Wales they just stay as pale as an angels shadow!

The Scots have the tanning haggis which basically means they think the sun shines out of their lopsided asses, but the best tanning formula comes from France...

Soap is banned and razors are just as hard to come by so the French just rub mud on themselves and think of ways to win a war on their own... which in itself is pretty dark...

i think there is a tanning booth that uses light on saladang.. walked by and saw an ad in window.

i once used the tanning gel/cream years ago in the west but it leaves a smell on your skin cos it works by activating protiens/converting sugars and starch... smells off...

I don't know if it was the Canucks who invented it, but there are tanning pills containing canthazanthin, which if taken over a length of time will sort of give the skin a tanned look. Some brands will cause more of an orange effect and others will be more of a golden brown effect, depending on the quality of the pills and what, if anything, is also in the pills along with the canthazanthin.
I read in a book called Life Extension by Durk Pearson and Sandy Shaw, twenty years ago, and they said an added benefit was that taking good quality canthazanthin also helped protect your skin from burning and ill effects of UVA rays. It is possible that later studies may contradict this I suppose.
