Hi people,

I'm a new member and visiting Thailand BKK & Pattaya end of this month..I'm curious to know some current(approx)prices for mainly Bangkok but Pattaya as well if you have the info. Prices for Short time vs Long time, bar fines, lady drinks. Also average charges for online escorts outcall vs incall and lastly going rates for the(riskier?)street freelancer. Its been over 10 years since my last visit so some more current info would be greatly appreciated and any advice anyone thinks pertinent.

Prices have gone up a bit over the years.
If you go to Nana Plaza or Soi Cowboy gogo bars the bar fine is about $1000 and lady drinks around $200 or more. Then most of these gogo bars also insist you pay the ladyboy 3000-4000 baht for short time which is the past was usually negotiable. Long time is probably still negotiable but will be a higher ask than before is most likely. Probably always over 5000 for long time. Other than what the bar makes you pay everything else is usually negotiable. Long time may vary depending how long you will stay with them and how much they truly like you. If you are taking them to a beach resort, which I have often done, they may be more willing than normal. I've taken a few ladyboys to Koh Chang for a week and it's good for negotiating.

The lounge style bars like Why Not, Check in or Cindy's etc. are going to be cheaper for barfines less than 1000 and ladydrinks less than 200. I don't think they have a minimum ladyboy fee at any. Freelancers are a crapshoot but I think you can pretty much negotiate anything with them still. There is many freelancer options on Thai Friendly so you don't necessarily have to go to the street. It's sometimes riskier to book someone online in advance. However most of the ladyboys are on Thai Friendly, even most bar girls and escorts. So some possible savings without to the benefit of meeting them first.

Escorts are 3000-5000 for 2 hours usually but could be much more depending on the agency or ladyboy. I've never actually ordered an actual escort in Thailand. The thing is most of the escorts online all usually are the same ones you find in the bars at a higher cost.
Pattaya prices tend to be slightly lower than Bangkok usually.

For years I always paid $1000 - 2000 baht for short time and $5000-6000 baht for long time. Since Covid inflation has hit Thailand for sure.
There does appear to be more ladyboy bars than ever before between Bangkok and Pattaya these days. Phuket still lacking dedicated ladyboy bars I believe.
So the selection is fantastic, maybe better than ever.

Thank you for the reply. .I can remember back in the day thinking 1000 was my rough guide for short time and everything else I desired seemed to equate of that like weighing up attraction, chemistry e.t.c & going from there. I have definitely noticed the inflation in escorts on the home front & over time know there's still amazing experiences and people out there who you can vibe with given the right circumstances. It can be all down to luck & successful communication sometimes. Ironically its easier said than done. Just try remain respectful, playful and genuine as can be Always having lots to learn in this world
