I think I deservce my own short time room on the premises so I do not have to go up the stairs when the mood strikes Maybe even my own bar stool with my name on it
I can think of worse sites than watching some sexy ladyboys bending over the pool table so I say the bigger table the better so they have to bend further

I propably get bricks thrown at me for this, but what about a pinball machine? I don't like playing pool at all, really boring for me, but I quite like a pinball game now and then. I am sure, you could also turn the sound of the pinball machine down or even off, not to annoy the other customers too much and you could place the pinball machine in the noisier area of the bar anyway.

The Guess Bar is a special case... there are two (well more, but...) kinds of people competing for attention here...
First of all - we only think it's an 'upmarket lounge' because the shitpits are the competition... What it really is is a bar where ladyboy lovers can go to and have a drink with their mates and lb girlfriends. Some people will actually show up for the available totty - but surprisingly it's not that many. Thankfully it's enough to keep them there!
I was sceptical a couple of months back when I was with Mardhi and Jay discussing the merits of expansion. I have a wellworn story about a succesful hamburger bar in Norwich, England that made a fortune as a small exclusice US style bar but failed completely when it used the profits to become a large craphole that nobody felt comfortable in...
Add to that my general conservative approach to business ventures...
Here's the secret to any bar/restaurant/coffee shop who wants to make a business that is open for many hours and doesn't have the customers to fill the place...
Design the shop to always look full!
Take a look at Starbucks... The way the place is laid out it never looks as though you are the first or only person to walk through the doors that day. Americans can look at another brilliant example... The Olive Garden... Even if you are the only person in the building - you don't actually feel that way! The poor old Brits can look through the window of a Wimpy Bar and think... fuck... it's barren and desolate in there... why would I want to set foot inside!
So far the magic of The Guess Bar is that even if you are the only bloke in there you don't feel like a lonely tosser... Keep that magic then the expansion will work.
I'm just a 'fucking wanker' with a 'worthless opinion', but hey... I can type!
