New beers started arriving already

I seem to recall you cant be gotten out of the place even when they DONT sell smithwicks or whatever it is. Clearly its the ooohing and ahhhhinng from the pool table that must be keeping you there

it's very consistent too - unlike Guinness which can be hit and miss

Although not that many people drink it, it is brewed by guinness who strong-arm most Irish pubs into also serving it so easy to get in ireland

My beer of choice these days - but haven't seen it in Texas yet

It's the only thing I drink when I'm over.Was over for a days work just B4 I went to Thailand, had a couple at Dublin airport.

I don't know if its just me , but Ive never had a good pint of Guinness outside of Ireland .
A good pint of Guinness is great , but a bad one  

Im sure Dave can back me up on this but there is a art in pulling a good pint of Guinness , and you should be waiting a good 5 mins to let it settle (not handy if you are dying for a drink )

A lot of other factors ie - temperature etc plays a big part .

Living in Ireland makes you a bit obsessive about the black stuff , especially when you get breast fed it

I think items like temperature, pressure etc play a big part in it

generally find the pints of guinness in Edinburgh to be of a high standard

My fave pint is still a good guinness but, unfortunately, too many bad pints out there
