My favoutite tipple (being Irish) is Guinness but have to agree with what was said about the problem of getting a decent pint outside Ireland (but they are getting better - had some good ones in Germany recently).

Undoubtedly, best bottled beers are Belgian - Leffe (Brune); Kwak; Maredsous; Affligem; Westmalle; etc.

Mardhi - any progess on sourcing Belgian beers for Guess?

Stella have launched here, you can get it on tap in some places, I've been here for 6 years and best beer in all of that time was old speckled hen.. no for long though the importer went out of business.

There must be Belgian beers, i noticed a pub selling some in Pattaya.

Stella is pur chemical....brewed from rice or ok ok who knows....!!

It was not allowed to sale Stellla in Germany as Bier...

German,Austrian and Tschech are bewed without chemical and brewed from barley....all other is not beer...limonade or piss maybe...

Good God! This is getting rediculous! I check out this forum for what beer is being served? C'mon...I use to love checking the Guess Bar section for fantastic photos of hot LB's!!!! Mardhi camera work made me want to hop on the next flight to BKK and fly right over to the Guess Bar nonstop. Now I get a picture of a 6-pack of Smithwick bottles!!! The worst thing that happened to this section was when a few wimps complained that their face might show up in this forum! I used to love checking this forum to see some new pictures of Guess Bar girls. I get to BKK maybe 2 times a year and miss the place! I loved the candid shots of the girls hanging around and playing at the Guess Bar. Please more pictures of the Guess Bar ladies and less talk of it's drink menu!

The beer clearly is a topic of interest to the BMs - especially in a bar like Guess which serves as a meeting point for BMs.

The title of the thread is "New beers started arriving already". That should have given you a clue as to the content - you don't have to read this thread.

If seeing a picture of some beer is the worst thing that happens to you this week - then I reckon you're doing alright
