New beers started arriving already

It seems like all anyone can find in Thailand is, for the most part Corona, Heineken, and Tiger.

Does anyone know why its so hard to find good inported beer like Amstel, Bass, Guinness or some good American beers like Sam Adams, or Sierra Nevada ? I always wonder about that.

Many of the Euros and Aussies on this board would really love the beers from the microbreweries in the USA and I am not talking about Sam Adams. Sierra Nevada, Portland Brewing Company, San Luis Obispo, etc are all excellent breweries for IPA's, pale ale's and porter's. We also have a local brewery here that makes some of the best beer in the world if you can find it and its called Karl Strauss.

I've lived in the states all my life . And have tried many many of the micro's . But I ALWAYS go back to Guiness , Bass and Tsingtao .

And occasionally I will drink Negra Modelo .

When ever I eat at say a Thai or Vietnamese or Korean resteraunt I drink whatever comes from that country .

But most of what is brewed in this country I stay away from
