Check In Bar alcocart (Sukhumvit Soi 5), almost in front of the MacDonald's.

Some nice lbs working there. I believe it opens around 11:00 pm.

Check in Bar also has a regular bar location very near the side walk alco-cart.
It is located in between Soi 5 and Soi 7 in small alley near the entrance of Soi 5. Take quick right turn at Kebab shop and you are there.

Update, I managed a visit to Check In Bar during my August 2014 visit. Unfortunately the sidewalk Alco cart has been put in hibernation as the Bangkok Metropolitan Association has cracked down on sidewalk vendors

Check In Bar is a lounge style bar - no go go dancing, although there is a pole for the lbs to use if they are in the mood. There are 2 pool tables, and watch out for Bee, she is a shark! I saw her win about 8 games against the other staff at 100 Baht/game.

The lbs are divided into service or hostess. The service lbs will take your drink order and serve you, while the hostess lbs are available for chat, and negotiation for bar fines. I am not sure the service lbs are bar fineable, but I imagine they may be.

The alco (drink cart) is in hibernation for a while as the Bangkok Metropolitan Authority has enforced no side walk vendors on Sukhumvit during the day, so they are now forced to open in the evening eliminating the spaces formerly occupied by the drink carts. I have been informed that this would be expanded to all major roads.

The first photo is of Bee, she's definitely one of the best looking lbs in the bar, and she is a pool shark. I watched her win around 600-700 Baht (100 Baht a game) against the other lbs in the bar.

and unfortunately, I didn't catch the names of the last two.

It's a good bar to visit for those who don't like the higher pressure lb go go bars in NEP, Patpong and Soi Cowboy.

A few more photos from the bar. Of note about 30% of the lbs are from Laos, last I heard there are 40+ lbs on staff - quite a lot for a small bar, but it was explained to me that not all the lbs show up all the time, so you can expect around 30+ during the busy evening shift (around 5-6 pm).

Went here a couple weeks ago and really liked it. Comfortable with 2 pool tables and quite low pressure.
The first time i went there I met Am who was very sexy.
The next time i brought a ladyboy, Massy, with me. Massy was comfortable there and enjoyed hanging out.

I was in BKK for a few days last week and decided to drop into Check In Bar to see what it was all about. I went in on both Friday and Saturday nights, so theoretically this should have been their busiest nights. There were about 15 girls on staff, some real lookers and few not so great either.
I actually liked the place a lot more than Guest Bar. There seemed to be more room, two pool tables, and the girls were certainly a lot less pushy.
One girl that caught my eye was Nan (Post 7). She's from Laos, reckons she's 21, but looks a lot less. She's got enhanced boobs which she said she got 4 months ago. She friendly and looks as cute as a button.
All round, a pretty cool place to hang out. Just off Soi 7.

tommyred, good to hear you had a good experience at Check In Bar! When I visited it was quite relaxed and not pushy. A good variety of lb types to suit most guys.

When you are comparing Check In to Guess Bar, are you thinking of the more recent times (well except last few months as it was taken over and is under new ownership and management as Chaos 9).

I visited Guess Bar in the early days, and it was quite the place! Thanks for sharing and looking forward to reading more of your adventures!
